2022 Skywalker Pinot Noir

The 2022 Skywalker Pinot Noir is tasting wonderful today and is a wine that will age and develop well for years to come.  The 2022 growing season had warm days and cool nights allowing the grapes to ripen slowly while developing beautifully.  The wine opens up worderfully in the glass with a delicate fruitful aroma of cherry, blackberry, raspberry complemented by nuances of baking spices, nutmeg and close and just a hint of milk chocolate and dried mushrooms.  The palate is big and juicy with strawberry, raspberry, cherry with hints of red currants and dark chocolate.  The texture is filled with bright acidity and the fine tannins give a long finish.
