Hand harvested early in the morning over 12 days in October 2023, this vintage has generous aromas of red and dark berries including, strawberry, cherry and raspberry, followed by hints of blackcurrant and mushroom. The fresh fruitfulness is complemented by complex oak and cooking spices—vanilla, anise and clove. On first taste, flavors of cherry, raspberry, and currant burst out of the glass, followed by nuances of sage, lavender and white pepper. The palate's fine tanins and balanced acidity lead to a long, lingering finish.
